The Oka Kapassa -- Return to Coldwater -- Festival is a special Native American gathering, is held anually in Spring Park, Tuscumbia, Alabama to celebrate the culture and traditions of Native Americans who once thrived in north Alabama. The two-day event will be held on Friday, September 8 and Saturday, September 9, 2017. Friday is a day set aside for school children but is also open to the general public. Admission is free to the public on both days.

See our Schedule Page for details.

Parking is will be very limited inside Spring Park on Friday, as most of the parking inside the park will be devoted to school buses and other transportation for school children, as well as for the Native performers and artisans and Festival volunteers.

Check back on this page near the time of the 2017 Festival for the schedule of events for 2017. We expect to have another event at the Florence-Lauderdale Public Library, and we are planning an event for the Russelville Library also.
